Long Island Rotarian Chanbir Kaur will discuss Shoe Box Operation — in which boxes of small items are sent to troops in Iraq and Afghanistan — at the Thursday, April 5, meeting of the Brooklyn Bridge Rotary Club.
Kaur, Vice President and Branch Manager of Community National Bank‘s Woodbury location, has worked in banking for 14 years, previously at Citibank. She is Assistant District Governor for Rotary District 7250 and Past President for Rotary Club of Jericho Sunrise.
Kaur is actively with several Chambers (Syosset, Plainview-Old Bethpage and Hicksville). Her other business networking affiliations are BNI-First Resource, Women Economic Developers of Long Island , Safe House Bethpage, LICN, Sikh Forum Camp Plainview, March of Dimes, and the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
She resides in Jericho with her husband Arinder and children Danvir and Gurbani. As a Rotarian, wife and a mom, Chanbir Kaur lives the principles of humanitarian service, high ethical standards in her career, and the ideal of building goodwill and peace in the world, in both her professional and personal life.
